DORIS V. BLACKBURN

SIKESTON -- Doris Virginia Blackburn, 61, of Sikeston, died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 1992, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Jan. 17, 1931, in Oakton, Ky., daughter of Kenneth and Ida Belle Anderson Redden. She married William R. "Bill" Blackburn May 9, 1952, at Charleston.

Blackburn was a medical records transcriptionist at Missouri Delta Medical Center more than 20 years, and was a Mary Kay consultant. She was a member of Tanner Street Church of God, and former Sunday School teacher.

Survivors include her husband; a son, David Blackburn of Sikeston; a daughter, Joy Blackburn of Kingman, Ariz., and a brother, Kenneth Redden of Indianapolis, Ind.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Tanner Church. The Revs. Carl Addison and Roy Ferguson will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Home after 5 p.m. today, and Friday from 9 a.m. to noon.
