EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Doris Stallings-McGuire, 56, of East Prairie died Monday, Dec. 18, 2000, at her home.
She was born April 17, 1944, in East Prairie, daughter of Royce and Pauline Ward Woods. She and David Wesley McGuire were married Nov. 17, 1990.
Stallings-McGuire had worked at Susanna Wesley Family Learning Center since April 1995. She was a member of First Church of God.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Kenneth Stallings II of Kansas City, Mo.; a stepson, David McGuire of Milan, Ill.; a brother, Hubert Woods of East Prairie; three sisters, Betty Banks of East Prairie, Catherine Bilyeu of Willis, Texas, and Laverne Davis of Chesterfield, Ind.
Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Larry Smith officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.
