DORIS KIEFER

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Doris A. Kiefer, 83, of Perryville died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2001, at her home.

She was born Aug. 1, 1917, at Perryville, daughter of August and Amelia Buerck Zoellner. She and Lloyd J. Kiefer were married March 22, 1941, at Perryville.

Kiefer was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Ladies Sodality, Ministry of Praise, and Association of Miraculous Medal.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Gary Kiefer of St. Louis, Kenny Kiefer of Perryville; three daughters, Susie Mueller of St. Louis, Patty Bodling of Lee's Summit, Mo., Jane Frary of Evansville, Ind.; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, a grandson, four sisters, and three brothers.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. today, and Saturday from 6:30-9:50 a.m. The parish wake with the Ladies Sodality is at 7 tonight. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Saturday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent's Church. The Rev. Kevin P. Fausz will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
