Doris Lee Kidd, 79, of Jackson passed away Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, at the Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born July 15, 1938, at Brownwood, Missouri, the daughter of Willie B. �Virgil� and Lillian Spear Bagbey. Doris had been a bookkeeper at Huck Equine in Fruitland. She was a member of Linwood Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau. In her earlier years, she played the piano at Advance First Baptist Church for many years. She was a superb pianist. Doris Lee Kidd, 79, of Jackson passed away Friday, Jan. 26, 2018, at the Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 15, 1938, at Brownwood, Missouri, the daughter of Willie B. �Virgil� and Lillian Spear Bagbey.

Doris had been a bookkeeper at Huck Equine in Fruitland. She was a member of Linwood Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau. In her earlier years, she played the piano at Advance First Baptist Church for many years. She was a superb pianist. She also loved to travel.

Doris and Paul Kidd were united in marriage Nov. 21, 1978, in Advance, Missouri, and he survives of the home.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Kidd; two sons, David (Sarah) Pickens of Cape Girardeau and Brian (Vicky) Pickens of Arcadia, Missouri; six grandchildren, Matthew Pickens, Tara Pickens, Adam Pickens, Kayla Pickens, Chelci Richardson and Steven Spiegel; and a great-grandchild, Zoe Richardson.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Mark Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to Linwood Baptist Church or Teen Challenge.
