ORAN, Mo. -- Doris Jean Graviett, 69, of Oran passed away Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015, at the family home in Oran.
She was born Dec. 19, 1945, in Cape Girardeau to the late Frank John and Velma Ida Dannenmueller Eftink. She married Eugene Graviett on July 26, 1963, and he survives.
Doris worked at the International Hat Factory in Oran, and she retired as a seamstress at Columbia Sportswear in Chaffee, Missouri. She was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran and the St. Ann Sodality.
Survivors include her husband, Eugene, of the home; three sons, Allen (Tina) and Wesley (Karla) Graviett, both of Oran, and Christopher (Laura) Graviett of Scott City; two daughters, Tammy (Paul Jr.) Dirnberger of Jackson and Amanda (Robby Gregory) Graviett of Oran; eight grandchildren, Madison and Mackenzie Graviett, Michelle (Ben) Buchanan, Jennifer (fiance Justin Bader) Dirnberger, Michael Dirnberger and Karrie, Kamryn and Kenna Graviett; a sister, Rose Ann (Jack) Birkner of Ballwin, Missouri; and her mother-in-law, Imogene Graviett of Oran.
Doris also was preceded in death by a brother, Norman "Catfish" Eftink.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. Parish prayers will be at 4 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Guardian Angel Catholic Church, with the Rev. Randy Tochtrop as celebrant. Burial will be at Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery in Oran.
