DORIS FRITSCHE

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Doris L. Fritsche, 79, of Perryville died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan 21,1922, at Farrar, Mo., daughter of Gottleib M. and Martha K. Mangels Verseman. She and Elmer O. Fritsche were married June 24, 1945. He died Dec. 4, 1988.

Fritsche was a member of Salem Lutheran Church at Farrar, Ladies Aid, Lutheran Women's Missionary League, Lutheran Family and Children's Service, Perry County ARC and Salem Senior Servants.

Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Fritsche of Perryville; a son, Charles Fritsche of Frohna, Mo.; two sisters, Lydia Eggers of Perryville, Frances Bruss of Brentwood, Mo.; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and six sisters.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 5:30-9 p.m. today, and Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 a.m.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Salem Church, with the Rev. Robert Schneider officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
