THEBES, Ill. -- Doris Jean Full Denton, 70 of Thebes passed away Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012, at Southeast Hospital.
Doris Jean was born Feb. 24, 1942, at Hartford, Ill., daughter of the late Everett Full and Winifred Hall Full.
Jean was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Olive Branch, Ill., and served as the church custodian, and was a nurse's aide at Southeast Hospital. On July 8, 1970, at Thebes, she married Francis Denton.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Iona Stiles; and her husband, Francis A. "Sonny" Denton on April 13, 2012.
Survivors include a daughter, Melissa Denton of Thebes; three sisters, Carolyn Poole of Thebes, Karen Cockrum of Rogersville, Tenn., and Kim Willis of Kentucky; a brother, Henry Graham Jr. of Cape Girardeau; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call from 8:30 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms, Ill.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Curtis Alderson officiating.
Interment will be in the Mound City National Cemetery in Mound City, Ill.
