MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Dorcas Mae Russell, 73, of Marble Hill died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Oct. 7, 1933, in Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter of Henry Ira and Carrie Etta Wall Lawless. She and Charles Russell were married Oct. 10, 1952, in Jeffersonville, Ind. He died Nov. 15, 2002.
Russell had been a bus driver with Woodland School District, and an upholsterer. She attended Marble Hill Bible Chapel.
Survivors include two sons, James Russell of Soda Springs, Idaho, Charles Russell Jr. of Marble Hill; three daughters, Sunny Neely of Cape Girardeau, Roberta Bailey of Scopus, Mo., Gail Isom of Ironton, Mo.
She is also survived by two brothers, Henry and Charles Lawless of Ohio; three sisters, Bonnie Johnson and Pauline Weber of Ohio, Caroline Rich of Texas; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, two sisters, and a grandchild.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to service time Saturday at Hutchings Funeral Chapel.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with Dr. John Englehart officiating. Scott Thomasen will deliver the eulogy. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park.
