Dora D. Schrock, 86, of Cape Girardeau passed away Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011, at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 19, 1924, in Cobden, Ill., to Ernest and Wilma Theis Grabow.
She and Hadley G. Schrock were married Jan. 5, 1946 in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her Oct. 18, 1970.
Dora worked on the family farm for many years before becoming a supply technician for Saint Francis Hospital, where she would retire. She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral.
Survivors include her son, Paul (Debbie) Schrock of Scott City; daughter, Mary (Martin) Santana of Cape Girardeau; sisters, Evelyn (Carlton) Heider and Francis (Norbert) Burlis, both of St. Louis; grandchildren, Ethan and Andrea Schrock of Scott City, Noah and Laura Santana of Cape Girardeau; and two stepgrandchildren, Josh and Meghan Hengst of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Constance Grear.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Patrick Nwokoye officiating.
Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
