DORA DANELS

BERTRAND -- Dora Danels, 73, of Bertrand Nursing Home died Saturday night, Aug. 31, 1991, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Sept. 3, 1917 at Senath, daughter of Rufus A. and Jettie L. Hagy Braddum.

On Sept. 28, 1940 at Matthews, she married George Albert "Shorty" Danels, who died on March 11, 1988.

She was a housewife.

Surviving are two sons, George Allen Danels of Sikeston and Thomas J. Danels of Hinesville, Ga.; one daughter, Judy Harris of Charleston; three brothers Curtis Braddum, Springfield, Ill., David Braddum, Dixon, and Glen Braddum of Farmington; one sister, Florence Massey, Deer, Ark.; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and nine step-great-grandchildren.

Two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel at Sikeston with the Rev. Tom Bridges of the Wyatt Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Matthews city cemetery.
