Dora Briggs, 67, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born May 8, 1943, in Sikeston, Mo., to Otis B. and Daisy Roxana Stephens Mouser. She and Raymond Briggs were married July 16, 1964, in Jackson. He preceded her in death.
Briggs worked many years at Universal Paper Goods in Los Angeles. She was of the Pentecostal belief.
Survivors include a son, Timothy Palmer of LaMirada, Calif.; three brothers, Stanley and Avery Mouser of McClure, Ill., Rodger Mouser of Cape Girardeau; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, David Palmer; her parents; a brother; and a sister.
There is no visitation.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home, with the Rev. Lucien Bozarth officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
