ANNA, Ill. -- Donna Penland Biber, 54, of Anna died Friday, Jan. 27, 1995, at the Abbey in Carbondale, Ill.
She was born Dec. 11, 1940, at Cobden, Ill., the daughter of Paul and Opal Basinger Penland of Anna.
On April 1, 1993, in Jackson, she married Joseph K. Biber, who survives in Anna.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Anna and was employed at SIU-Carbondale in the education department.
Other survivors include one son, Darrell B. Hannahs of Anna; one daughter, Kimberly Tyson of Pocahontas; one sister, Paula Cochran of Clarksville, Tenn.; one brother, Chuck Penland of Jackson; and three granddaughters.
Visitation will Monday beginning at 5 p.m. at the Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna.
Funeral service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Shacklee officiating. Burial will be in the Cobden Cemetery.
