ENGLEWOOD, Fla. -- Donna Jean Creighton Mullins passed away Friday, Oct. 13, 2023, in Florida. She was the second daughter of Henry and Marie Creighton of Cape Girardeau.
She graduated from Cape Girardeau Central High School in 1968 and cum laude from Southeast Missouri State University in 1972 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Donna married Jack Mullins in 1971, who survives, along with her two sons, Heath and Hunter, who reside in Virginia. She had three grandchildren, the late Connell, Aedon and Anika, and three great-grandchildren, Adeline, Penelope and Millie. She is also survived by her three sisters, Janet of Iowa, Linda of Florida and Denise of Missouri.
Donna and Jack lived in the Virginia countryside south of Washington, D.C. She had a lifelong passion for horses and was an enthusiastic trail rider. She also traveled. Frequently accompanying her husband to Europe, she was able to put her French language skills to good use in Geneva, Switzerland, and France.
Donna was a Christian woman.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, at Grace United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau.
