DONNA M. WICHERN FRENTZEL

PERRYVILLE -- Donna M. Wichern Frentzel, 63, of Perryville, died Friday, Oct. 11, 1991, at Perry County Hospital.

She was born Nov. 30, 1927, in Perry County, daughter of Oliver and Gertrude Gibler Smith. She first married Melvin Wichern, who died Dec. 4, 1962. She later married Robert Frentzel.

Frentzel was in charge of the local March of Dimes many years, and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and American Legion Auxiliary Post 133 in Perryville.

Survivors include three sons, Bruce and Terry Wichern of Ste. Genevieve, Kevin Wichern of Perryville; three daughters, Diane Bauman of Cape Girardeau, Rhonda Ernst and Lisa Bohnert of Perryville; her mother of Brewer; a brother, Kenneth Smith of Perryville; three sisters, Verna Huber and Virginia Zoellner of St. Louis, Gean Cissell of Perryville, and 14 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Immanuel Church. The Rev. Donald Loesch will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home after 5 p.m. today, and until 8:30 a.m. Monday.
