Donna Bollinger

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Donna Sue Bollinger, 83, of Marble Hill died April 15, 2018, at Woodland Hills.

She was born Aug. 16, 1934, near Gipsy, Missouri, daughter of Leonard and Leo Cullins Dunn.

She graduated from Zalma High School in 1953. Most of her life was spent with her three sons. She helped with the books and office work for her boys when they started Bollinger Brothers' Drilling. She also worked many years at the hat factory in Marble Hill. She was of the Baptist faith.

Donna is survived by a son, Roger (Kelly) Bollinger of Del Rio, Texas; a sister, Barbara Whitehead of Advance, Missouri; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Dean and Brady Bollinger; a granddaughter, Nicole "Suzy" Bollinger; two brothers, Glen and Earl Dunn; her parents; and by Bill Bollinger, even though she found him a trifle hard to live with. He was the love of her life and the father of her three sons.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at the funeral chapel, with Shannon Gaines officiating. Burial will follow at Hahn's Chapel Cemetery near Marble Hill.
