Donald D. Wolfenkoehler, 74, of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Gir­ar­deau.

He was born Nov. 16, 1932, son of Albert C. and Irene Friedrich Wolfenkoehler. He was married to Lola McNeely.

Wolfenkoehler was a syrup mixer with the Coca-Cola Bottling Co. He was in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was in the American Legion.

Survivors include his wife, Lola Wolfenkoehler; three daughters, Donna Eakins, Larrine Brown and Patty McCormick all of Jackson; a stepdaughter, Kristi McNeely of Cape Girardeau; a stepson, Russell McNeely of Scott City; a brother, Wayne A. Wolfenkoehler of Oklahoma City; six grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. John's Church Cemetery in Fruitland with full military honors. The Rev. David McNeely will officiate.

Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
