JONESBORO, Ill. -- Donald W. Shepard, 66, of Jonesboro died Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, at his sister's home in Jonesboro.
He was born March 24, 1936, at Dongola, Ill., son of Harry and Beatrice Boshell Shepard.
He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a laborer in highway construction.

Survivors include one sister, Betty Smith of Jonesboro, and one brother, William C. Shepard of Jonesboro.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and three brothers.
Services and burial will be held in private. Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home of Anna, Ill., is in charge of arrangements.
