GRASSY, Mo. -- Donald Lee Rouggly, 89, of Grassy passed away Friday, Nov. 6, 2020, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born March 1, 1931 in French Village, Missouri, son of Roscoe and Myrtle Carrow Rouggly. He and Wilma Gaines were united in marriage on Jan. 1, 1955.

Donald worked for Procter & Gamble as a quality checker until he retired. He was of the General Baptist faith and a member of Palmore Chapel.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma Rouggly; four children, Dennis (Pam) Rouggly of Oriole, Michael Rouggly of Cape Girardeau, Rodney (Mary) Rouggly of Grassy and Lisa (Mark) Miller of Grassy; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by three sisters, Margie Hannon of St. Louis, Mary Alice Carrol of Collinsville, Illinois, and Geraldine Gibson of St. Louis.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Anabel Brown; and two brothers, Raymond and Richard Rouggly.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Eaker Cemetery in Grassy, with Brother Steve Sanders officiating.

Liley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
