Donald George Roth, 62, of Scott City died Saturday, May 7, 2005, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 5, 1943, in Illmo, son of Ernest Theodore and Anna Marie Walter Roth.
He was owner and operator of Roth Hardware Co. in Scott City and an Army veteran. Roth was a member of Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City, Kiwanis Club of Scott City, chamber of commerce in Scott City, the American Legion and the Lutheran Laymen's League.
Survivors include three brothers, Richard Roth, Franklin Roth and Ralph Roth, all of Scott City; two sisters, Rose Kassel of Frohna, Mo., and Ernestine Roth of Wittenberg, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call today from 4 to 8 p.m. at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City and Monday from 9 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.
Funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City, with the Rev. Bob Azinger officiating. Burial will be in Eisleben Lutheran Cemetery in Scott City.
