Funeral for Donald Ray Pfefferkorn of Cape Girardeau will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, Mo. The Rev. Lewis Hejna will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Vyron Yount. Burial will be in St. Ambrose Catholic Cemetery at Chaffee.

Friends may call at the chapel after 8:30 a.m.

Pfefferkorn, 60, died Monday, April 23, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 16, 1940, in Delano, Calif., son of E. Mike and Ruth Ervin Pfefferkorn.

Pfefferkorn was an assembly line operator at VIP Industries at Fruitland, Mo. He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church.

Survivors include his mother of Chaffee, and a brother, Michael Pfefferkorn of St. Louis.

He was preceded in death by his father.
