GLENALLEN, Mo. -- Donald Ray Miller, 65, of Glenallen died Friday, May 4, 2001, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born July 26, 1935, at Dutchtown, Mo., son of Donald Chester and Nellie McCulley Miller. He and Karen Berringer were married April 23, 1971.
Miller was retired as a conductor from the Santa Fe Railroad Co. He was still the lead private investigator for the Youngdahl-Sadin law firm in Albuquerque, N.M. He had served in the Marine Corps and was a member of First Christian Church in Chaffee, Mo. He was also a member of Trowel Masonic Lodge No. 440 in Marble Hill, Mo. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Scottish Rite of Long Beach, Calif.
Survivors include his wife; his father; two sons, Donald Raymond Miller of Mesa, Ariz., and Verlin Miller of Glenallen; a daughter, Lori Crampton of Bullhead, Ariz.; two brothers, Jim Miller and Bill Miller, both of Chaffee; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, stepmother Beryl Miller, a son and a brother.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the family farm in Glenallen.
