MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Donald Lewis McLean, 71, of Marble Hill died Monday, April 15, 2002, at David Grant Medical Center in Fairfield, Calif.
He was born Sept. 2, 1930, in Shepherd, Mich., son of Louis E. and Erma J. Alexander McLean. He and Ola Mae Shirrell were married Oct. 23, 1954, at Zalma, Mo.
McLean retired from General Motors Corp., where he worked 22 years.
He was a corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Kenneth McLean of O'Fallon, Mo., Keith McLean of Fairfield; two daughters, Kathryn Jones of O'Fallon, Kimberly Pind of Arnold, Mo.; three sisters, Marjorie McAllister of Lowndes, Mo., Beatrice Scott of Cuba, Mo., Mary Clark of Willow Springs, Mo.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and a grandson.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Jack Rogers and Everett Clark officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill, with full military honors by the U.S. Marine Corps.
