KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Donald L. Stockman, 57, of Kansas City, Kan., formerly of East Prairie died Wednesday, June 18, 1997, at the Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan., following an apparent heart attack.
He was born Dec. 10, 1939, at East Prairie, son of James William and Grace Irene Ellis Stockman.
Stockman was a retired set-up man from the Swift and Co. Packing Co. of Kansas City, Kan. He was a farmer for several years and was of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen Sue Stockman of Kansas City, Kan., and Donna Kay Stockman, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; four brothers, J.W. Stockman of Chicago, Ill., Bobby Stockman of Kansas City, Kan., Eddy Stockman of East Prairie, and Larry Stockman of Tonganoxie, Ks.; and a sister, Irma Sue Colson of East Prairie.
Friends may call at the Alden-Harrington Chapel in Bonner Springs, Kan., from 3 - 5 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral service will be at the chapel at 10 a.m. on Monday. Burial will be in the Edwardsville Cemetery in Edwardsville, Kan. Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie was in charge of local arrangements.
