Donald G. "Butch" Keesee, 67, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Sept. 11, 2008, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
He was born June 7, 1941, in Cape Girardeau, son of Lawrence and Vivian M. McDaniel Keesee. He and Sharon Sue McCormick were married in Scott City.
Keesee was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church. He was a machine operator at Esselte Group in Union, Mo. He was a 1961 graduate of Central High School.
Survivors include a son, Phillip Keesee of Cape Girardeau; four brothers, Bill Keesee of Cape Girardeau, Lawrence Keesee of Vilonia, Ark., Michael Keesee of Jackson, Curtis Keesee of Delta; three sisters, Delores Bond of Scott City, Paula Suzuki of Cape Girardeau, Kay Marshall of Jackson; and a grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Phillip Roop officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
