Donald Guerrier

BENTON, Mo. -- Donald I. Guerrier, 64, of Benton died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born June 22, 1943, in New Orleans, son of Jack and Beatrice Wells Guerrier. He first married Gladys Johnson, then Emma Alsup and later Rhonda McVay.

Guerrier moved to Benton in 1994, and was a roofer and contractor until retiring.

Survivors include a son, Donald E. Guerrier of Brighton, Mich.; four daughters, Denise Guerrier of Brighton, Dawn Soto of Jonesboro, Ark., Katrina Pehm of Benton, Desiree Guerrier of Tulsa, Okla.; two stepbrothers, Mark Ackerman of Quitman, Ark., Bob Ackerman of Webberville, Mich., Helen House of Kissimmee, Fla., and Donna St. Charles of Fowlerville, Mich.

He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, a sister and a stepsister.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston, Mo.
