DONALD E. CULBERTSON SR.

SIKESTON -- Donald Eugene Culbertson Sr., 67, of Sikeston, died Friday, March 3, 1995, at his home.

He was born Sept. 12, 1927, in Sikeston, son of Earl and Elizabeth Johnson Culbertson. He and Pauline Turner were married June 26, 1948, in Piggott, Ark.

Culbertson was a mechanic 20 years with Aufdenberg Equipment Co. of Sikeston, and had also worked for Walton and Williams Ford Motor Co. and Barks-O'Neal Equipment Co.

He was a lifetime member of Henry Meldrum American Legion Post 114, and member of Eagles Aerie 3319. He was a corporal in the U.S. Army Signal Corps during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Don Jr. and Herb Culbertson of Sikeston; two brothers, Edgar and Paul Culbertson of Sikeston, and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Park Cemetery, with the Rev. Larry Davis officiating.
