DONALD BRADY SR.

Graveside service for Donald E. Brady Sr. of Rochester, Minn., will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the gazebo in Memorial Park. The Rev. Charles Lance will officiate. Military rites will be conducted by the Southeast Missouri Veterans Honor Guard of Poplar Bluff.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 6-8 p.m. today.

Brady, 62, died Saturday, April 24, 1999, at Mayo Clinic in Rochester.

He was born March 5, 1937, son of Charles and Betty Rodgers Owens. He and Patricia Nix were married May 10, 1967, at Scott City. She died Nov. 9, 1996.

Brady was formerly of Cape Girardeau and a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University.

He served 20 years in the U.S. Navy, and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He then taught electronics at Perryville Vo-Tech School, retiring in 1997.

Survivors include a son, Donald Brady Jr. of Millersville; a daughter, Susan Howard of Chattanooga, Tenn.; several brothers and sisters; and three grandchildren.
