DON TESNEY

BERTRAND -- Don Tesney, 54, died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 1996, at the home of his mother in Bertrand.

He was born May 4, 1942, in Haleyville, Ala., son of William Wes and Ethel Lee Howell Tesney.

Tesney was supervisor of equipment maintenance at Spartech Corp. in Cape Girardeau a number of years. He was transferred to the branch facility in Mankato, Minn., where he retired in October. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his mother; a brother, Roger Tesney of Sikeston; three sisters, Betty Morrow of Wappapello, Nelda Creek of Bertrand, and Frankie Turner of Coupland, Texas.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Kelley Grubbs and Larry Stephenson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
