ANNA, Ill. -- Don Charles Scivally, 81, of Anna died Friday, Jan. 12, 2001, at the City Care Center of Anna.
He was born March 26, 1919, at Dodson, Texas, son of William Emerson and Chloe Sarah Van Amburg Scivally. He was a veteran of World War II, a survivor of Pearl Harbor and a member of the Carroll P. Foster VFW Post #3455 in Anna.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna Kay Scivally of Jonesboro, Ill., and Jackie Lee Hoffman of Anna; one sister, Essie Mae of Vienna, Ill.; one brother, George Scivally of Anna; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Anna city cemetery, with the Carroll P. Foster VFW Post #3455 officiating.
Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
