SIKESTON -- Don Lowe, 59, of Sikeston died Friday, Dec. 11, 1998, at Puxico.
He was born Nov. 15, 1939, in East Chicago, son of Glenn and Ann Milligan Lowe.
He married Nell Mason on June 1, 1962, at Lake Station, Ind. She survives.
Lowe, a Sikeston businessman, established a new-and-used furniture business in Oxford, Miss. He moved operations to Sikeston in 1971, where he founded OFMCO Inc., an office machine and furniture company that he operated the past 27 years.
Lowe also owned property -- the former Montgomery Ward building -- in downtown Cape Girardeau.
He is survived by a son, Chris Lowe, of Rolla; three daughters, Linda Peterson of Ovilla, Texas, Julie Heppe of Marble Hill and Michelle Anglemyer of Ogden, Utah; a sister, Shirley Memering of Hobart, Ind.,; and five granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, with the Revs. Tom Geers officiating and Johnny Hester. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the family residence, 512 N. Kingshighway, today from 5 to 8 p.m.
