POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. -- Don Leiner, 72, of Poplar Bluff passed away Sunday, Aug. 16, 2015, at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Don was born Feb. 20, 1943, to H.C. "Bud" and Dorothy Belk Leiner in Cape Girardeau. He graduated from Scott City High School in 1961. Don worked as a conductor for Union Pacific Railroad 40 years. On June 24, 1967, he married Patricia Bishop in Scott City.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with his family.
Don is survived by his loving spouse of 48 years, Patricia; three daughters, Michelle (Perry) Farmer, Angie Corcimiglia and Lori (Shawn) Shelton, all of Poplar Bluff; four grandchildren, Danielle Farmer, Jacob Corcimiglia, Hannah Corcimiglia and Camden Shelton; one aunt, Mary Uelsmann of Benton, Missouri; and his dog, Buddy.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Moore Funeral Service in Poplar Bluff.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City.
