CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Don Crowe, son of the late George and Ella Mae Crowe, was born Jan. 29, 1938, in Perkins Missouri. He departed this life Monday, March 22, 2021, at his residence in Chaffee at the age of 83.

Don retired from Procter & Gamble in 1996 as a maintenance supervisor. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Don was a member of the Oran (Missouri) Knights of Columbus and the Chaffee Elks. He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee.

On Aug. 2, 1958, he was united in marriage to Iris Marie Mier in Oran. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include a son, Tim (Gina) Crowe of Chaffee; daughters, Theresa (Jay) McGuire of Jackson and Patty (Tony) Heath of Carterville, Illinois; 11 grandchildren, Nathan McGuire, Jerrett McGuire, Brent McGuire, Seth McGuire, Adam Crowe, Alex Crowe, Levi Crowe, Blake Ingrassia, Presley Thompson, Jacob Heath and Josh Heath; also nine great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.

Besides his parents, Don was preceded in death by a brother. Bill Crowe; sister, Juanita Spane; and grandson, Marcus Ingrassia.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. There will be a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Joseph Kelly officiating. Interment with full military services will follow at the Union Park Cemetery.
