PERKS, Ill. -- Graveside service for Donald "Don" Churchill of Perks will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Dongola, Ill. The Rev. Walter Stevenson will officiate.

Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak, Ill., is in charge of arrangements.

Churchill, 73, died Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2000, at his home.

He was the son of Harry and Bertha Moake Churchill.

Churchill was a powerhouse operator 23 years at Allied Chemical in Metropolis, Ill. He was a member of the Gospel Assembly Church in Anna, Ill.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Survivors include a daughter, Donna Loughridge of Peyton, Colo.; a son, Keith Churchill of Dongola; two sisters, Cleta Casper of Perks, Leta Cross of Blue Springs, Mo.; a brother, Forrest Churchill of Perks; a friend, Hazel Powell of Perks; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
