Private entombment service for Dolores Nannie Hampton, 3120 Independence, will be held today at Memorial Park Mausoleum. The Rev. John Owen will officiate.
Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Hampton, 88, died Sunday, Jan. 26, 1997, at Chateau Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 17, 1908, at Whitewater, daughter of Clarence Albert and Mayme Hunt Ford. She and Loy L. Hampton were married July 7, 1930, at Jackson. He died Jan. 8, 1992.
Hampton attended Will Mayfield College. She was a member of First Baptist Church and its Mary Slessor Sunday School Class, and charter member of Whitewater Order of Eastern Star, and Cape Rock Chapter Order of Eastern Star..
Survivors include a daughter, Marcia Bonwell of St. Louis; a sister, Minnie Pike of Mesa, Ariz.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
