Dolores K. Bissell, 78, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Dec. 11, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born April 27, 1921, daughter of Carl and Mary Levitt Bucher. On Feb. 5, 1944, she married Eugene M. Bissell at Cape Girardeau. He died Sept. 14, 1986.
She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral and was also a bookkeeper for Auto Tire and Parts, retiring in 1966.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary M. Phillips of Olathe, Kan., Barbara J. Maclin of Oak Ridge and Pamela S. Sievers of Jackson; a sister, Anna M. Rink of Anna, Ill.; seven grandchildren, Lori Proffer, Robert Cook, Catherine Phillips, Valerie Phillips, Kevin Watkins, Sean Watkins and Michelle Starkey; and a great-grandchild, Aaron Abercrombie.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Cook, four brothers and a sister.
Friends may call today from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. Prayer service will be at 2 p.m. at the chapel, with Father Dan Schulte officiating.
Private services for the family will be held at the Lorimier Cemetery Mausoleum.
