DOCK B. HAVENER

SIKESTON -- Dock Bradford Havener, 88, of Sikeston, died Friday, Nov. 12, 1993, at Sikeston Health Care.

He was born Feb. 16, 1905, in Johnson County, Ark., son of Andy and Fannie Shane Havener. He and Connie Miller were married Feb. 18, 1928, in Hartman, Ark.

Havener was a retired farmer, and member of North Acres General Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Gerald Havener of Essex, Iowa; three daughters, Alyne Maness of Vineland, N.J., Barbara Rodgers of Sikeston, Brenda Akins of House Springs; 17 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, daughter, two brothers and four sisters.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Revs. Vergel Maness and Dale McFarland will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
