DILLIE BROWN

SIKESTON -- Dillie H. Brown, 85, of Sikeston died Monday, Jan. 12, 1998, at Sikeston Health Care.

She was born May 9, 1912, at Cuba Landing, Mo., daughter of R.E. and Elizabeth Rains Horner. She married Howard E. Brown, who preceded her in death in 1941.

Brown had worked at the shoe factory in Sikeston, and was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include a brother, John Horner of Bertrand; and a sister, Mattie Bridges of Sikeston.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bryan Davis officiating. Burial will be in Sikeston City Cemetery.
