SIKESTON -- Richard Lee "Dick" Springs, 64, of Sikeston died Thursday, Dec. 17, 1998, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born May 16, 1934, at Sikeston, son of Ernest "Buddy" and Laura Turley Springs. He and Earla Mae Waldo were married July 24, 1953.
Springs was a truck driver for Arkansas Best Freight Lines for 28 years. He also was a 32nd degree Mason.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Richard Springs of Missouri and Gary Springs of Scott City; a daughter, Sandy Ressel of Scott City; two brothers, Jim Springs of Jefferson City and Dale Springs of Farmington; a sister, Doris Collins of Cape Girardeau; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel.
Funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the chapel with the Rev. Dr. Jim Davis officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
