CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Dianne G. Sebaugh, 64, of Chaffee, formerly of Jackson, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born July 29, 1949, in Cape Girardeau, to W.D. and Carnetta Underwood Welker. She and Douglas J. Sebaugh were married Aug. 1, 1970, at Sargent's Chapel Church near Sedgewickville, Mo.
Dianne was a graduate of Central High School. While her daughters were growing up, she was a Brownie leader and provided child care in her home, retiring in 1996.
She was a member of Connection Point Church in Jackson and previously taught Sunday school. She also attended First Christian Church in Chaffee and was a member of the Red Hat Society.
Loving survivors include her husband of 43 years, Douglas of Chaffee; three daughters, Sarah K. Sebaugh of Yuma, Ariz., Rebecca J. (Scott) Mitchell and children Brayden and Lily of Marion, Ill., and Joni L. (Jaeson) Fraser and son Seth of Chaffee; her mother, Carnetta (Don) Welter of Columbia, Mo.; her father, W.D. (Lela) Welker of Chaffee; two sisters, Susan Welker of Hannibal, Mo., and Kathy (Bernie) Horn of Jackson; three brothers, Sam (Rebecca) Welker and Dan (Karen) Welker of Cape Girardeau and George Welker of Carrollton, Texas.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Kevin Mann and Justin Sullivan officiating. Interment will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
