Diane Cooper

Diane H. Cooper, 55, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2002, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born Nov. 15, 1946, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of William Austin and Hilda Julia Hoffman Merideth. She and Kenneth M. Cooper were married Oct. 2, 1965, in Cape Girardeau.

Diane was a graduate of Notre Dame High School. She had worked in banking and bookkeeping, and was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband; a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Keith and Wendy Cooper of Perryville, Mo.; a daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Michael Hunter of Union, Mo.; a brother, William Merideth of Florissant, Mo.; two sisters, Mary Reed of Florissant, Doris Christoff of Russellville, Mo.; three grandchildren, Trey and Spencer Hunter, and Casie Cooper.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent de Paul Church. The Rev. Robert Brockland, C.M., will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
