Diana Lynne Robinson, 64, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2020, at her home.
She was born Aug. 24, 1955, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Robert Lee and Marilyn Sperling McLemore. She and Tad Robinson were married June 27, 1981, in Branson, Missouri.
Diana graduated from the School of the Ozarks in Branson. She enjoyed substitute teaching in Illinois, loved volunteering her time and talents as assistant librarian at Scott Air Force Base Elementary in Illinois, and loved running the Scholastic Book Fair Program there. Diana also volunteered through the Church Caring Place with the United Methodist Church in Nashville, Georgia. She and Tad were transferred to several Air Force bases throughout the United States, including Alaska, Nevada, Illinois and Georgia.
Loving survivors include her husband of 38 years, Tad Robinson of Jackson; son, Richard Scott Robinson; daughter, Sarah Breannae Robinson; mother, Marilyn Whitmore of Jackson, stepmother, Darlene McLemore of Jackson; sisters, Theresa (David) Hopkins of Jackson and Robin (Chris) Miller of Annapolis, Missouri; and brothers, John (Vicki) McLemore and Joe (Jennifer) McLemore, both of Cape Girardeau. Diana had a large, loving extended family and will be greatly missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert McLemore, and stepfather, Joe Whitmore.
A celebration of life will be held and announced at a later date.
