DOGWOOD -- Dewey Heath, 90, of Dogwood died Sunday, April 7, 1996, in the East Prairie Nursing Center.
He was born July 22, 1905, in Dogwood, the son of James Edward and Alice Neal Heath. He married Edna Maxwell on April 22, 1932.
Heath was a farmer and businessman, serving several years on the First Bank of East Prairie Board of Directors. He was a member of the Dogwood Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife; two sisters, Vida Rippel of Moberly and Dorothy Heise of Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Harold Norton officiating. Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery.
