DEWAYNE AND ASHLEY SADLER

CHAFFEE -- Funeral service for Dewayne Andrew and Ashley Dawn Sadler, Chaffee Route 2, will be held at 11 a.m. Feb. 6 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. Robert S. Smithey will officiate, with burial in Williams Cemetery at Perkins.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Feb. 6.

Dewayne, 6, and Ashley, 8 months, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 1993, in a fire at their home.

Dewayne was born April 2, 1986, at Chaffee, and Ashley was born April 30, 1992, in Cape Girardeau. They are children of Andy and Janie Menz Sadler. Dewayne was in first grade at Chaffee Elementary School.

Survivors include their parents; a brother, Steven Menz of the home; a sister, Laura Sadler of the home; paternal grandparents, Jackie Sadler, Chaffee Route 2, Carolyn Jobe of Cape Girardeau; maternal grandparents, Paul and Kay Menz of Perkins, and maternal great-grandmother, Effie Smith of Delta. Dewayne is also survived by his biological father, Eddie Stause of Leopold.
