CANALOU -- Detsil Davidson, 71, of Canalou, died Sunday, Sept. 1, 1991, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born April 28, 1920, at Charter Oak, daughter of Willie Davis and Lola Pearl Chiles Heath. She married Claud Davidson March 23, 1940, in New Madrid. He died May 31, 1986.
Davidson was a member of Canalou Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include four sons, Earl Davidson of LaForge, Dwight Davidson of Jacksonville, N.C., Larry Davidson of Canalou, Wayne Davidson of Rome, Ga.; three daughters, Louise English of Canalou, Ronnie Warren of New Madrid, Joyce Peters of Gray Ridge; a stepdaughter, Imogene Meeker of Monett, Ark.; a sister, Martha Wilkins of Morehouse; 18 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Mike Cartwright will officiate, with burial in Mounds Park Cemetery at Lilbourn.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
