MILLERSVILLE -- Dessie M. Bollinger, 93, of Millersville died Saturday, Feb. 13, 1999, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Oct. 4, 1905, at Daisy, daughter of Peter Amos and Sarah Elizabeth Bowers Statler. She and Omer E. Bollinger were married Feb. 23, 1927. He died April 20, 1976.
She and her husband owned and operated Bollinger General Store in Millersville from 1935 to 1951 when she retired.
She was a member of the Millersville United Methodist Church for 64 years and was the oldest member of the church at the time of her death.
Survivors include two daughters, Ina Lee Snyder of Las Vegas, Nev., and Ilinda Hopkins of Millersville, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, four brothers and six sisters.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10:30 Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Chris McCutchen will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.
