Derek Michael Robbins, 34, of Scott City died Saturday, April 16, 2016, in Scott City.
He was born Nov. 9, 1981, in Cape Girardeau to Daniel Edward Robbins and Jama Dawn Loines. He married Brandi Jolene Bailey on Dec. 16, 2005, in Advance, Missouri.
He was a fabricator/welder at Schaefers' Electric in Scott City. He was a member of the A Frame Church in Bell City, Missouri.
He is survived by his wife; his parents, Jama and Dan Wright of Advance and Danny and Brenda Robbins of Paris, Tennessee; a son, Brooks Robbins of the home; two brothers, Chase Wright of Advance and Spencer Robbins of Paris; and two sisters, Kerri Atwill of Paris and Megan Exler of St. Louis.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. at the chapel, with the Rev. Ted Stone officiating.
Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Bell City.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
