Herbert "Denny" Ourth, 66, of Jackson died Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at his home.

He was born Sept. 20, 1945, in Cape Girardeau, to Leo Lawrence and Helen Louise Diebold Ourth.

Herbert attended Notre Dame High School and graduated from Cape Girardeau Central High School in 1964.

He and Dolores B. Wagner were married Aug. 7, 1965, at Mount Clemens, Mich.

Mr. Ourth retired from Procter & Gamble after working there 27 years. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council 6405 in Jackson and a former member of the Ducks Unlimited.

Denny enjoyed traveling and was an avid RV'er. He was a dedicated member of the Friday Night Circle.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Debbie (Kenny) Green of Jackson, Mary D. (David) Jansen of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Kathleen (Bill) Keesee of Cape Girardeau, Janet (Glenn) Ivy of Kevil, Ky.; and six grandchildren, Kendra and Kailey Green, and Jacob, Clayton, Olivia and Leah Jansen.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Richard H. Ourth; and a sister, Frances Heuring.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel, with parish prayer at 7 p.m., followed by Knights of Columbus rosary.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson, with the Rev. John Harth officiating.

Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association, 10820 Sunset Office Drive, Suite 220, St. Louis, MO 63127, or Immaculate Conception building fund in Jackson.
