Funeral for Dennis Charles Rothe of Waco, Texas, will be held at 10 a.m. today at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waco. The Rev. Donald Olson will officiate. Burial will be in Waco Memorial Park.

Connally/Compton Funeral Home in Waco is in charge of arrangements.

Rothe, 53, died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 1999.

He was born Nov. 15, 1945, in Battle Creek, Iowa, son of the Rev. Norman and Renata Gottberg Rothe.

Rothe had worked at Swiff-Train Co. almost 20 years.

Survivors include his wife, Pat, formerly of Cape Girardeau; three sons, Eric Rothe of San Antonio, Texas, Ben Rothe of Dallas, Texas, Daniel Rothe of Waco; his mother of Waco; and a brother, Marc Rothe of Portland, Ore.

He was preceded in death by his father.
