Dennis R. Farrow, 69, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016, at his home.
He was born July 14, 1947, in Cape Girardeau to Russel and Joyce Marie Pinkston Farrow.
He and Linda Sue Brown were married April 2, 1969, at Murphysboro, Illinois.
Denny was a graduate of Central High School in Cape Girardeau.
He was a co-owner and the president of Farrow Lumber Company and Cairo Dry Kilns Inc. in Cairo, Illinois.
Denny was a member of St. Mary Cathedral, National Hardwood Lumber Association and South Central Lumbermen's Club.
Family was very important to Denny. He was an excellent photographer and used this hobby to capture many family memories.
Survivors include his parents, Russel and Joyce Farrow of Cape Girardeau; wife, Linda Sue Farrow of Cape Girardeau; son, Christian (Jacqueline) Farrow of Cape Girardeau; daughter, Laurie (Tim) Pleimann of Cape Girardeau; brother, Terry W. (Margaret A.) Farrow of Jackson; sister, Linda Joyce Farrow of Cape Girardeau; 11 grandchildren, Cody (Kelsey) Farrow,
Chelsea Farrow, Dr. Amanda Pleimann, Cortney Farrow, Mollie Pleimann, Caleb Farrow, Zoe Pleimann, Caylee Farrow, Colton Farrow, Colin Farrow and Josie Farrow; and one great-grandchild, Jaxon Dennis.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral Mass will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Cathedral in Cape Girardeau, with the Revs. Joseph Kelly and Milton Ryan officiating.
Entombment will be at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Mary Cathedral School, 210 S. Sprigg St., Cape Girardeau, MO 63703.
