Dennis M. Kahmke, 46, of Cape Girardeau, died Tuesday, April 12, 1994, at his home.

He was born May 8, 1947, in Cape Girardeau County, son of Everett "Dick" and Frieda Esselman Kahmke.

Kahmke served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of VFW Post 3838 and Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include a brother, Rick Kahmke of Perryville, and a sister, Barbara Moore of Cape Girardeau.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 10 a.m.-1:45 p.m. today.

Funeral mass will be at 2 p.m. today at St. Vincent's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
